Personal data (GDPR)
MiaByZan complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679) and the French Data Protection Act.
Data collected
- Newsletter — email address + preferred language. Stored until unsubscription.
- Contact form — name, email, message. Kept for a maximum of 12 months.
- Book purchase — payment data handled by PayPal (the site stores nothing). The site only stores buyer's email, chosen format, shipping status.
- Radio Mia — no listening data stored, no server-side analysis.
Purposes
- Sending newsletter and welcome emails (legitimate interest)
- Responding to contact form messages
- Fulfilling book orders
No transfer outside EU
Data is hosted by Hostinger (EU). No transfer to a third country, except for PayPal during a purchase (PayPal policy applies, see paypal.com/privacy).
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding your personal data.
To exercise these rights, write to zan@miabyzan.com stating the purpose of your request. Response within 30 days maximum.
For the newsletter, an unsubscribe link is in the footer of every email — removal is immediate.
In case of unresolved dispute, you can refer to the CNIL (French data protection authority).
Cookies and trackers
MiaByZan uses no audience-measurement cookie, no advertising tracker, no third-party service (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.). No consent banner is required.
Only a technical session cookie is used in the administrator area (non-public).

All content (texts, images, videos, code) is the property of Jean-Luc Castellani, unless stated otherwise. Reproduction forbidden without prior written permission.
